The Energy2B consortium consisted of 5 universities, 4 companies specialised in communication, innovation, boot camps and energy investments and 1 web platform development company.
University of Sheffield
The University's history stretches back to 1828, when the Sheffield School of Medicine was founded. The University of Sheffield has over 24,000 students from 131 countries, and almost 6,000 staff.
Technical University of Lodz
The Technical University of Lodz came into existence in 1945, initially with 3 Faculties of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemistry. Together with its development new faculties were established, up to the present number of 9 faculties, 70 institutes and departments with 120 specializations. In 1992 the International Faculty of Engineering was set up with English and French as its languages of instruction. Nowadays there are approximately 20 000 students and 3 000 staff members at the University.
University of Maribor
The university was founded in 1975 and is consisted from 17 faculties. The University of Maribor is a broad-based institution committed to excellence in education, the extension of knowledge through basic, advanced, and applied world-quality research, and creative and artistic expression. With its complement of Arts and Sciences, Law, Business, Engineering, Medicine, and Pedagogy, the University promotes cooperation, competition, and multi-disciplinarity.
University of Coimbra
The university was founded in 1290 and is one of the oldest universities in continuous operation in Europe and the world. The University of Coimbra is an indisputable reference in higher education and research in Portugal, due to the quality of the courses taught at its eight Faculties and to the advances achieved in pure and applied research in various areas of knowledge, in Portugal and in the world. The prestige of the University of Coimbra may be demonstrated by the position it holds in the international rankings of universities and research centres.
Technical University of Sofia
The Technical University Of Sofia is the largest higher engineering school in Bulgaria with long years of experience in training engineers.
Qeam BV
Qeam BV is the initiator of Energy2B. It is a consultancy company of Erik Knol and located in Leiden (NL). Its expertise is identifying and activating business, innovation and technology developments. Qeam is focused on providing services to companies, research and educational institutions and government agencies. Besides, it is the (co)initiator of 2 other European projects: EnerCities and WasteKIT.

InnovaBIC
